I tension a Toyota so I won't bag on jap autos. i will bag on human beings attempting to make a civic rapid. they are no longer. a chilly-air intake will supply you perhaps 3hp advance and probable no longer the rest. Your vehicle gets louder and lose some resale and since the 1st reaction suggested, if performed incorrect, you run the prospect of sucking water into your motor and messing issues up rather undesirable. in case you go with a rapid vehicle, sell the civic, purchase a Supra or 300Z or some thing like that. those autos have been made to pass rapid on an analogous time as your civic replaced into made to final 10000 years and get wonderful mileage doing it then have severe resale while time got here to sell it. take exhilaration on your vehicle for what that's and in case you go with a rapid vehicle, get one. in case you asked approximately towing with the civic, you may get an analogous reaction. it quite is in basic terms no longer made for it.
