What to do to overcome problems? Jesus Christ, the Son of God, says"Come unto me all of you who are weary of life's problems and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest" God Himself asks 'whosoever will' to believe on, and receive Jesus Christ His Son into his/her life. Then He will make him/her a child of God.Only God's sons can overcome all this world's dificulties and problems. Will you be that 'whosoever'? Come on! God is willing and ready to receive you into His family of OVERCOMERS. That is the reason Jesus Christ went to the cross and died for you so that you can be free.Receive Jesus NOW.

Try to think of the positive things you do in your life that make the world a better place, that works for me, I also do yoga, and meditate. The last thing i can recommend is get out in to nature and spend some time in true peace the woods will calm the mind and soul.

I lost too many people that I love. I don't think the "experiences" I've been through are hardships that I can just overcome. The pain will be with me forever but I guess I've done pretty well to accept what I can't change. And that's the most important part. Time heals... So I'm letting it do its work while I savour my ability to smile and hold back tears while I'm hurting. It's alright.

I think I'm trying to answer that via my question about being suddenly attracted to the wine box in the fridge. The world seems such a sad place. What can we do to find peace, apart from the magical world of religion, open the bottle, find the genie? retail therapy? None of it very deep or constructive. Help others? Works for a while, but then anybody can help, There's nothing special about it....actually, when I think about it....it's finding what's unique, special about ourselves...........if we can find it that is.

someone here said that nobody likes a complainer. That's true. But that's also true that sometimes a complainer has many many problems and have nobody to vent. That's why some people commit suicide. Because there are people like the one here who said that nobody likes a complainer. People easily turn their back to people who need help and they are not aware that it is something URGENT sometimes. There are a lot of people in pain in this world who do not know how to deal with their problems. Most of the times they come from dysfunctional families (my case) and they have to learn by themselves how to survive and how to fight back). I've been there and the only ONE who has never abandoned me is God. I turn to Him when I need help desperatly. Of course, we also need human help but if you don't consider GOD your main support and your help, you might not survive. Pray, go to Church, keep faith and never quit believing that He is always there for you even when things are really difficult. If I told you all that BS that I went thru in life and thanks to Him I am able to be writing you this note. People are selfish and don't care because they lack of love in their hearts, compassion.
So many husbands say they are a godly man but they mistreat their wives, they abuse them, they really don't know what is to be a real Christian, all they think is about themselves.
I wish this world was a better place to live in. I wish I could write a book telling people that we can win the victory if we believe in Him. Life is not really easy to live but we can make it if we go for what is essential, not only for looks and what fades away.

I am not sure if I answered your question in full but this is what I think. Good luck and God bless.

Quit dwelling on the problems.

You probably need to see a psychiatrist. You seem depressed. It's not normal to constantly think about the bad stuff that happens in the world. For every person that commits suicide there are 1,000,000 happy people.

Find stuff you like to do and do it. Focus on the good and do stuff that you enjoy and you'll, well, enjoy life more. Nobody likes a complainer.

Think positively and don't ever look back into the past because it would hold you back. Always look forward to the present and the future don't worry about what has been done in the past because it would just haunt you and cause a negative outlook on life.

There are many frightening things in life but if one were to sit and worry about them we would drive ourselves crazy! To achieve peace with one self... that is something an individual must explore and learn on their own because every person is different.

In my case, I focus on ME. Not in a selfish way, but I focus on what I can do to make myself happy (improve finances, job, health, etc...). Then I take things one at a time, conquering each of my changes day by day. I try not to take on too much at once or else I will set myself up for disaster.

Hope this helps =)

Seek GOD's help! Talk to a church pastor. It does not matter it they are catholic or protestant. Also, talk to a counselor at your local Mental Health Center. The reason there is so much violence and crime is that we as a society have turned from GOD. Who better to turn to than the One who created us?

knowledge is a good start... travel, see other countries and their cultures. Experience the life of a family in poverty and see first hand that happiness comes from family and friends and community, not religion nor material things. Read, learn, ask questions, grow, comprehend, compromise. Knowledge is empowerment.

As Winston Churchill once said, "When you're going through hell, keep going."

Take the road less traveled.
