go completely naked for a play? do you think its the pressure of hollywood?

I don't think he just decided to go do a naked play. He decided to be in Equus, which is critically acclaimed. And to do Equus correctly, he had to decide to adhere to the script, which called for a naked scene. I think he's just trying to grow as an actor and make sure the industry doesn't see him as a one-dimensional Harry Potter actor. I don't think it had anything to do with the pressure of Hollywood. I think he wants to be an actor, not a Hollywood heartthrob.

It was called for in the play. The character is naked for a reason in that particular scene. To not play it as written would have wrecked the point of the play.

I adore Daniel Radcliffe, but glad I don't have to see him nude!

He is British, They don't bow to the pressure of america. He wanted a more grown up role and to step out of the spotlight of Harry Potter.
