I was hit on my rear driver's side tire and received $1,400 worth of body damage.Since the accident though,my clutch had been making funny noises when I press the pedal down to shift.Any ideas?

aren't many vehicles a unibody construction now so if something got bent in the back it could affect the front?

if the accident bent the frame they could be related,if not ,its not likley form the accident

That accident has nothing to do with your clutch. Maybe you burned it out? Or your throw out bearing may need replacing.

It can if your car's engine and transaxle are in the back of the car-like vw bug or gm fiero.
if your engine is in the front,not likely

Obvious answer--have your mechanic check it out! You may be able to get the insurance to cover it!
