Try breaking words down into sep-a-rate parts, and say them like that in your mind.
Learn like words together - like "here and there" - not "their"
Try Google for "helps with spelling" - useful advice and games.
But don't rely on your spell-checker, as this little verse shows:
Ode to the Spell Checker
Eye have a spelling chequer,
It came with my pea sea.
It plainly marques four my revue
Miss Steaks eye kin knot sea.
Eye strike a key and type a word
and weight four it two say
Weather Eye am wrong oar write
It shows me strait a weigh.
As soon as a mist ache is maid,
It nose bee fore two long,
and Eye can put the error rite -
Its rare lea ever wrong.
Eye have run this poem threw it
I am shore your pleased two no,
Its letter perfect awl the weigh.
My spell chequer tolled me sew.
Hope that helps!

Read,Read and Read more. Don't skip words that you can't pronounce. Have a dictionary beside you and look them up! Take some diction classes, the better you can pronounce a word the easier it is to spell it. Learn the rules of English - like i before e except after c. Now get away from the computer and start READING.

Any time you don't know for certain how to spell a word, try to look it up. That always helps. You can get a cheap dictionary almost anywhere they have books or cheap random things (and it will improve your vocabulary as well! Always a fun bonus!) Computer word processing programs usually have a dictionary as well if you have a computer but don't want to get a dictionary in print.
And reading ANYTHING helps! Just seeing words will give you a better grasp of common spellings.

Reading can help. It can also expand your vocabulary.
With computers I think we rely to much on spell check & then their are those who apparently do not know what spell check is. But using the spell check is useful for many things, when we are not using a computer, we still need to know how to spell so that we don't appear ignorant to those reading what we have written....

Reading might help. Also try not to mix up your homophones, you meant "to spell" not "two spell" which would probably also be helped with more reading. Literacy is the only solution to your spelling problem.
