My GF is moving and has to give up her Yahoo Music Jukebox. She has an extensive selection of songs and several playlists from others.
She would like to copy all this to her 30 GB ipod. Is this possible
or would she need an MP3 player? Or what or how. Help. Thanks.

A couple of answers for you, neither of which you will like.

1- YMJ is not compatible with iPod. She would have to have a a YMU To Go account (not just the regular YMU - the "to go" part is what lets yoyu copy to an MP3 player) and a compatible MP3 player.

2- All music on YMJ is licensed and the licenses have to be renewed through the computer monthly. She could copy the songs to an MP3 player, but come next month if you don't have access to a computer that has her YMU account installed on it, the songs will no longer play.

You said she has to "give up her YMJ". I'm not sure why she has to give it up unless she is moving to another country or unless she won't have access to a computer, but I'll take your word for it. If this is the case, she could simply give you her account ID and password, and you could use it as if you were her. However, you would then have access to her entire Yahoo account (e-mail, messenger ID, etc.), so she might not want to do that.

Your other solution would simply be to pony up for your own account and select the songs you like yourself.
