Gay men may well like other gay men, and very probably they like straight men, straight women and bisexuals but all in different ways and for different reasons.

Because they share the same attitude to sex and physical attraction, and may, but not necessarily, wish to have sex with them.
For reasons I can't explain, gay people tend to be more creative than straight people. Creative people like the mental stimulation of the company of other creative people.
