I have a 1995 ford f250 4x4 diesel powerstroke.

Depends on how you normally drive and what you are changing the gear ratio to. Post additional details and I'll try to offer advice. Like do you tow or haul allot, do you drive stop and go or mainly on the highway and if so whats your average rpm now at your normal traveling speed. To offer advice without further knowledge could only be a guess and you don't go through the trouble of re-gearing on a guess.

That would have been effective on an older truck when three speed non-overdrive transmissions were the norm. In these days with 5-speed transmissions, probably not.
