i dont think its easy to forgivr... or forget and i think deep down people never really do.....

i think people learn how to push it to oneside, hide it under a whole bunch of stuff. it always pops its head up again but u bury it and then other things get buried on top of it and the ones underneath seem less important or dont hurt as much, thats my opinion.! :-)

It is easy for one to forgive because that is our true nature, although some are hardened to the point where their true nature has been encapsulated by their hardness and ignorance.
To forget on the other hand is hard because our consciousness seems to be the sum of our experiences and we can’t just erase a section of our past as we may like to, in an attempt to move on. Time can make even the most painful memories distant instead of front and center, but to not have any memory would open the door to repeating the mistake that occasioned the pain.

I think sometimes we want something to be how it used to be so badly that we'd do anything and end up forgiving. But in reality its too hard to forget because all the emotion and feeling is still there.

Forgiveness is a wise concept. And a concept, that it is. You may forgive one for an act, but their punishment will remain. Forgivness is to save one from pain. Do you save one from pain when you could justifiably cause it? Forgiveness is quite easy, because the emotion of your suffering transforms into empathetic sorrow for your newfound victimised enemy.

I am not sure it is easy to forgive. You will need devine help if the hurt goes deep enough. However, to harbor hurts forever will only destroy you in the long run.

It's hard to forget because your brain records everything that has ever happened to you.
