WEnt to dr and gave some routine blood and the nurse tied in one vein and missed and tried in the other arm and couldnt get any but when i left my arm was really swollen and hurting. Dr said no big deal. Well it still hurts and it swollen and really bruised up and down the side and back of my arm.

Hematomas can occasionally get complicated, but chances are far and away that you'll do fine, though it'll be ugly for a couple weeks. Not knowing anything about you, I'd guess a bit of ice the first day and in a few days some warm compresses should be all you need.

nothing really to be concerned but the fact that you are gonna have a nasty bruise, you unfortunately got a dimwit that does not know how to draw blood do you know that they only train 1 or 2 days on how to draw blood. I never let them dig around.

it´s important to know when you´ve had these venopunctures, but it usually hurts 2-4 days depending on the subject, check if they are getting red or becoming warmer as an index of infection...

It should settle down over time, but if you are still in pain in a week, go back and see your doctor.
