Fraser fir will be a good tree. They have short, soft needles that stay on better than almost any other.
To keep your tree nice as long as possible, cut an inch off the bottom just before bringing it inside. Put it in water and don't let it dry out. The tree will take up a lot of water for the first 24 hours.
There is a product from "Naturally Safe Technologies" that will help your tree last and makes it somewhat fire resistant. It comes in a packet looks like a Kool-Aid pack. If you can find it, use that in the water.

I am here to correct GodShew. In Jeremiag it says nowhere that Christmas is a babylonian custom of brutish fools. It is stating what the Lord said. The Lord said that the Christmas tree was useless because some people come to worship the tree and forget about God. Also the Lord is using the tree as an example of an idol. As long as we know the real reason for Christmas then it's the best time of the year!! But as for your question. A fake tree would be the best because of its repetitive use.

S. from Canada. they have been contained in the chilly for some weeks and could stay truly sparkling till they get embellished and placed in a warmth section. The tree has been severed from all life helping ability (roots) and is demise. shrink the bottom of the stump and let it to sit down in water and save it in a tree stand an excellent thanks to proceed to get water for a week or so. forget each and every of the aspirin and floral stuff to save it alive. Water is all it needs to assist save the needles a touch longer. attempt using lights that do not get too warmth and turn the warm temperature down if attainable contained in the room that the tree will be in. attempt choosing the tree it truly is the most well-loved by pulling on the needles. some timber are from the first cutting and it really is perfect to objective to get one which became shrink in late november (2d cutting) and shipped right here., i'd wait to carry it contained in the abode till the few days previously Christmas to have it very last till after New Years.

You can get a Pre-Lit Tree at walmart for about $80.00. It's a Fake Tree. Look on the bright side, you can use that tree year after year until you get tired with it. I just bought one saturday and I love it. I bought the 7ft one. They come in tow colors a Green one with Clear Lights and a Green one with multi-color lights. Of Course you can add ornaments and things but make sure there good because you don't want your baby getting hurt. Trust me I know. My little Boy almost knocked down the tree last year.

When my great niece was small and she stayed with us some, we bought a much smaller tree and put it up on a table so that she couldn't reach it.

Fraiser firs. They aren't messy, affordable, lightweight, and you can grab and the tree without hurting yourself with the needles or have sap all over your hands.
