as you have dark hair and a black dress, i would recommend smoky eyes look. apply a dark colour eye shadow on your eye lid then choose a slightly lighter shade and apply it on the middle or another way is to blend it at the outer and inner corner of your eyes. even though most of the things are dark colors on u, it doesnt mean you dun stand out. if u want people to notice your eyes, i would suggest u to apply a shimmering sliver eyeshadow underneath your eyebrows. for more of a dramatic look, heres a site that i would suggest... hope this helps you look nice

The colour of the dress is important, and the accessories but when it comes to your make-up - stick with the colour of your eyes, and work from there. Having olive skin, dark hair and a black dress - I would lighten the eyes - or your face will have no distinction from the dress - you could end up looking "goth". Practise with colours until you see the one you like.. Have a good time, but one suggestion, Black is NOT appropriate for an "engagement" party. You must never out do the "bride to be" and Black will attract too much attention. Think about a lighter colour for this event... or if you just love black, then tone it down with any other colour then "magenta pink!"

I would go with smokey, but use a deep purple all over the lid instead of a brown or grey. Black liquid liner and black mascara. Go nude on the lips and light on the blush as well.

I would defnitley go for the smokey eye effect using a white eyeshadow all over then apply a grey eyeshadow to just above the eye socket and blend which gives you the smokey effect
Hope that helps!

they tell you to do your make-up to match your skin and hair, not your clothes. So I would go with maybe a dark green and brown on the eyes!! try to go for a smokey effect!
have fun x

Anything light and natrual. I have found that Origins (http://Origins.com) products work very well of keeping the "natrual" look! but still sexy and sleek! you can try and light colors like pink, ivory, olive, light purple. or anything in that family
good luck~ if your in need of more advice...My_monkey_business99@yahoo.com
