The USMC reserve toys for tots program gives gifts to children and teens of lessfourtunate familys. You will have to first find a reserve center near you or find a local charity or church that works with the program.

If you make your problem known to the Pastor of your church, he should be able to help you. Also, there are civic organizations in some communities, like Kiwanis, Rotary, Fire/Police Departments, etc, who would supply assistance to families in need.

Don't worry about purchasing gifts for many others this year, those who know your situation will understand.

The main reason for Christmas is not how many gifts you can give or receive.
It is the sharing of love among family and friends.

If preparing a meal is all you can afford to give your family this Christmas then give thanks to God for this, also give Him thanks for your son's recovery..

Try contacting Toys for Tots, particularly if there is a local branch near you or a school or community group is doing a fundraiser for them.

On the site below you can request toys for children and others. They will arrange a Toys for Tots coordinator to contact you.

Good luck! I'm very sorry that things have been tough for your family.

Try Toys for Tots, the Salvation Army, The Jewish Federation ( if that is your faith) or contact your city's Department of Human Services for help in locating resources.

the town were you live in may have a school were they donate foods, gifts, and money donations. check out your local schools and see if they can help you out. you surely qualify. if that doesnt work out so well you can call up your city hall and local stores to see if it is possible to raise money for situations such as yours. good luck with this, it shouldnt be too hard to get info. have a great christmas and i wish the best for your son. god bless
