im doing this project for school. we are studying about cell. and comparing cells to the earth. one of our questions is what is the earths membrane. in your opinion what do you think it is?

The earth's core? You should start digging, so you can have a hands on experience......you'll never make it to core though.

I think the earths membrane should be biological/organic. So, I vote for the bio-sphere, that thin layer of biological material that is the skim on the surface of the earth.

I believe it is either the earth's core or the ozone layer.
