Yes! I am a Klutzy Faerie indeed.....mostly I collect bruises and small cuts.....and half the time I don't even remember how I sustained the injury! But the bruises turn pretty shades of blue and purple, and the scars make for some great storytelling.....so there ya go ;)

I am not at all klutzy, but a life of dangerous activities has left me with a wealth of scar tissue and some bone segment replacements.

Where do I start. When I was learning to walk I leaned on a table and tipped boiling coffee all over myself (40 years later I still bear the scars, thankfully not on my face). Then when I was about 2 years old I was jumping around on some boats on the beach and cracked my head open on one of the rollocks (4 or 5 stiches). When I was 4 or 5 I was running around the class room and fell onto the corner of a desk and had 3 or 4 stitches put in right above my eye. Six months later I was running in the park and tripped over a tree root and cut my leg open. I fell off the jungle gym at our club in Brazil and landed on my face breaking my nose. At the same club, I was playing on the swings and one of them slammed into my thigh causing a big dent in the muscle which I have to this day. I fell down the stairs of a double decker bus and pulled all the muscles between my ribs. I went to one of my friends' gigs at uni and was pogoing drunk out of my head and ended up spraining my ankle and skidding across the dance floor on my front teeth (know to this day by my friends as my tooth surfing incident). I was on a double decker bus that went under a low bridge and had the entire roof ripped off. I was working at a foundry and went skating across the factory floor on some shot-peens and ended up with bird shot permanently implanted in my knees. The last one was about a month and a half ago when I slipped in the bath and landed with my boob on the edge of the bath. I ended up with a purple G-Cup boob.

If you look up klutz in the dictionary, you will see my picture. But I won't let it slow me down. I still do crazy things; afterall, bones and bruises heal, but you only have one life to live so you have to enjoy it.

jammed all of my fingers at least twice
jammed my left index finger in three places at the same time trying to catch a pop-fly.
pinched nerve in my neck
