It's as easy as goin' to sleep. Some people just doze off & never wake up again, while others take hours & find themselves gasping for air & coughing from constricted airways. The more thoughtful & successful cases utilize Medications & Alcohol so that they won't be "interrupted" before the task has been completed. People who haven't been able to finish this task to completion end up with one heck of a big headache that takes weeks to go away!

Unfortunately it doesn't take much additional CO in the air to make it deadly. Here is a link to some effects based on CO concentration.
