getting a ticket through mystery gift is possible - but doing so is not necessarily easy
you need to attend a nintendo event, and communicate with a hotspot via mystery gift
unlike second generation pokemon games, in fire, leaf and emerald, mystery gift doesn't talk to other people's games, it talks to a machine called a "hotspot"

yes you can get the aura ticket but you need to go to a nintendo event mystery gift is for a wireless adapter and you now can connect with another gameboy with a wireless adapter and chat or battle

you need two people. you connect game boys and click mystery gift. you will bothi get a mystery gift.
