Is there a chat room for anyone who wants to chat in ohio? Free without advertisments?

I know of three places to check for local chat, but none appears to be exactly what you specified. I'll list them below, so you can check them out if you're interested.

Free, with ads, no Cincinnati-specific rooms:
Yahoo Chat (based on Yahoo Messenger) used to have a Cincinnati room, but they got rid of all of the user-created rooms a while ago. You can still look for Cincinnati people in the very crowded Ohio rooms: In Messenger, do Messenger/Yahoo Chat/Join a Room; then look under Romance/By Location and then Ohio on the right side. Some Cincinnati folks were meeting in Ohio:21 as of February 2006, but I don't know if they still meet there or not.
Free trial, no ads (but $20 flat fee after trial ends):

MIRC is a chat program that has a free 30-day trial (after which registration costs a flat $20 per computer for however long you want to use it). It has some big advantages over Yahoo Messenger chat -- people in chat rooms can have Moderator status and can kick people out if they spam or otherwise misbehave. The Dalnet and Gamesurge IRC servers both have #cincinnati channels, and the the 2600 server has one called #cin2600 (which is mostly local hackers). Many networks also have #ohio rooms.
