Im looking for base set pokemon cards, 1st edition preferred. Does anyone know of some cheap sites? other than ebay.

hm...if you want a particular card then try ebay. Otherwise Wal-mart still sells some of the older cards as well as Books a Million. Also, if there is a trading magazine where you live (giant bi-monthly classifiieds) or the Newspaper. (Where I sold some of mine) Also, the flea market is helpful too, I found a lot of cards there when I was into pokemon cards.

I'd count up about how many there are, and sell all but the rares on ebay. Then sell the rares seperately. They arent worth very much unless theyre in mint condition. I'd expect about 5 cents at most per common/uncommon, and 50 or so for rares.
