My homework is, to write an article for THE TIMES in which I have to advise Gordon Brown on how to appeal to young voters.

Thank you very much, if you help me.
You just have to say me, what advices I should write.
Thanks again.

Whatever you choose to write make sure that you employ a persuasive style of writing. Be direct in tone, and use techniques such as rhetorical questions, tripling, emotive language - and most of all keep your points relevant to you. You are young - what issues are important to you now and what issues might be important to you in the future? Tuition costs? Health education? Drinking laws/ age restrictions etc. And if it's due tomorrow - get on with it!!!!! Good luck.

Ask him what he thinks Tony Blairs positions on issues, like the war in Iraq, relations with the United States, etc.

You can also ask him what he will do to improve economic conditions in his country and the world.

What does he see as the main issues he will deal with if he becomes Prime Minister, etc.

Use what you know about him and ask more in-depth questions to get more of a story.

OK The Times is a very dull paper for self-regarding establishment types but hold your nose and buy a copy. Then you will get an idea of how writers who are paid more than me do these kind of pieces.

I think I answered this question before - but - I reiterate I don't think your teacher wants my work but yours ie work to be done at home by the person given it (not outside the home) - homework - so ask your family (although I would think that's not why it was given you as "homework" either)

Go to more places where younger people would be, then do things that would appeal to them while telling them about voting.
