Now everytime I turn, my tire makes a popping sound, the place I had the hub fixed said it is just the suspension because it got stretched out and after a day of driving it will get better, someone else told me that it was my cv joint though, does anyone know what a popping sound in the tire is, could it be the suspension or cv joint?

97 chrysler cirrus. Yes they listened to the sound. they said since they had it on a lift that the suspen. Streched out and has to return to the position it was before serviced. Just wondering if I was getting a line of bs. Plus that noise was not present before the service and wanted to know if they maybe did something

It sounds like a bad CV joint, but it could also be the suspension as well. Although, not likely. What kind of car is it? Many cars dont require a cars suspension to be "streched out" in order to replace a wheel bearing. Plus, not or nothing, a properly working suspension, shouldn't do that anyway. I'd get a second opinion, and then either try taking it back and see what they'll do for you. P.S. did they listen to the noise when you asked them about the problem?
