this is my answer, my reason, personally:

Affirmative Action. It is just as wrong to give women preference as it is to give a minority preference. Being a woman or being black does not make you special or bring anything to the table.

Would you like to be operated on by a surgeon who was hired via an Affirmative action?

-so, if a black person is an affirmative action baby than no, I do not like them.

I'm wondering how you draw your conclusions in the first place or is this a reversal of racism in itself on your part?

That's the problem with the majority of black people. They believe that white people should cater to blacks due to slavery hundreds of years ago. Everyone involved then has long been dead! Move on and stop crying victim! There is more residual hate and anger amongst yourselves than white people bothering to dislike you for your color.

People that hate should not get on your nerves. That's their problem unless you are hating as well.

I'm black but prejedicism is a thing of the past for the most part. I think predijicism is inherited by the actions of the parents rather than the immediate actikns of the child. I think that when we are born we are pure and are only influcened by the early actions of others that we don't understand yet, and not just to whites blacks, but we are all influenced in this way. Know that others don't always think of others as equal, but try to have a positive attitude about it and dont stoop to prejiduces peoples attitudes

I am white and i dont hate black people!
i think you are being too general. I see your point about being slaves and obviously i dont know how difficult it is to forgive those who enslaved your ancesters. But we are a new generation we should look to the future and teach our children everyone is equal. Then perhaps we can bring a bit more peace between cultures, races and religions.
Each person should be respected for who they are. This means that their differences should be respected, not ignored, not teased about or persecuted.

Put the slave story behind you. It is over the hill, and there were many Northern People who helped hide many slaves. So get over it. Not all people dislike Blacks. It is the way people act , that cause dislike. The Blacks are not the only people who suffered. Think of many emmigrants who came here that were abused and picked out. Irish suffered worse then the Blacks. So did the Bohemians. So when you speak of Blacks and slaves, They did'nt suffer nearly as much as some Whites did.
Time to get over that slave drama. It is over !!

Firstly, reverse racism is a laughable concept. Let's discuss the great power dynamics of race as it pertains to the United States. Yes, slavery ended years ago but did the attitutides held towards black people just kind of...get better after that? When slavery was outlawed, could a black person walk into a store and get a job, could they walk into a school and get an education? No. So, why does affirmative action exist? So stupid white people who own business and schools can't discriminate and if they do, they can get in big trouble for it because it's illegal.

So, we have a nation where black people were treated as the underdogs of society and literally used until they died so the white people could get rich, were kept uneducated purposefully were given no skills for working. We have a nation of white people who see black people as less-than because of this. How long do you think that attitude is going to take to go away? Automatically, we then have white culture (which is dominant in this society) and black culture, which the white society looks down on because it's not white. Which means that the population of people of color have pressure from within their group to maintain that identity but in order to succeed in the white dominated society have to hide or drop their cultural roots and "act white." I'm sure you all have heard this slur, it's called an "oreo."

Ok, now let's talk about reverse racism. That concept is just freaking laughable. People of color don't have institutional power (in the form of laws, history, or politics) to have an racism towards white people since they don't have social power to do anything about it, therefore it's prejudice. And, let's face it, EVERYONE is prejudice to another group for one reason or another. It's not black exclusive, it's not white exclusive, it's not gay or straight exclusive - it is just human nature. So now we have a nation full of white people who are angry at all the "rights" black people get when THEY HAVE BEEN OPRESSED AND DISCRIMINATED AGAINST FOR YEARS. You all: grow up. Black people aren't getting anymore or less rights than you - it's a failing attempt at equality. It seems like they get special rights because it is rights that you, as white people, have recieved your entire life without thinking about it twice. That is called privilege.

Sure, this country is full of different cultures and all, but when it comes down to it: who runs the country? A bunch of white men. Sure, you'll have your tokenized minority every so often to support you ignorant bigots out there but seriously: white men run the country. Let's talk about who DOESN'T fit into this category of white men: non-white men and women of any race or ethnicity, including white. The implications of that are that whatever happens, good or bad, to anyone who fits into these groups is BECAUSE of a white man, most likely. Slavery happened BECAUSE of white men. Slavery ended BECAUSE of white men. See how those that were enslaved had NO say in the process? Women can vote BECAUSE of white men. Gays can't marry BECAUSE of white men. There may be lobbyists to support these, but ultimately, who makes the decisions to enact and repeal laws. One guess: white men.

Sorry that didn't answer your question, but I'm so sick of white people who don't really understand what they are saying about Affirmative Action and racism or reverse racism or whatever. White people who don't like black people for reasons such as Affirmative Action or "reverse racism" are just idiots. Go read something education before you open your mouth and sound like a baffoon choking on their own spit. You are probably racist, anyway, but hide behind the socially acceptable reasons to not like someone because they are getting something that you are not. Bullsh*t. You get it, too, but no one talks about it because white people have been getting it for years.

Not ALL white people HATE black people. You can't judge everyone by one fool that doesn't know how to respect others.

You speak with a lot of anger. You question why whites hate blacks, I'm white and I hate no one. A lot of people who question racism with such anger, tend to be racist there selves. Read your statement, your anger and un-answered questions are causing you to put ALL white people into one catagory. You refer to white people as "them" and "they". This is sad.

Stop assuming all whites hate all blacks. I take offense to that. I have black family members and black friends. I do not dislike anybody based solely by color, we all bleed red.
