someone who has seen you at your worst and stays by your side in a time a need. yes, you'll fight, but that's normal. real best friends get through it and it makes them stronger. they are able to tell each other if something is bothering them and they come to that person with almost all of their problems. a few words come to mind: trustworthy, reliable, understanding.
