I OPK tested positive from the 4th to the 8th me and my husband had lots of sex. I feel different i was sure i was pregnant but when i tested the test was negative. My periods are really irregular so im not sure when my next one is due. Would most people accept this as a negative result or test again? thanks in advance

You should be counting four weeks from your last period, so given that you should (ideally) have ovulated two weeks after your period. In that case, you should be able to tell from a pregnancy test by now. Give it another week and then take another test. If you're still feeling like you might be pregnant, see your doctor because he or she can give you a blood test which is more accurate.

I tested 4 times with my last son and they all came out pregnant. By the time I went to the doctor I was already 10 weeks pregnant!! Like you my periods are always crazy so I took negative to mean negative. The best thing would be to go to the doc and get a preg test if you don't start in a couple of weeks or get a positive

Wait until the end of the month, test again if it is still negative but no period, call your ob and schedule a blood test to confirm. Blood test are most accurate, and can be done anytime to confirm the true results. It will definitely put your mind at ease.

Most physicians say that after 40 days without a period, you can be sure of the results of any pregnancy test. Has it been that long now? Check again. If it turns out negative, then you need to see your GYN and start over.

If you did ovulate on that period, the test should be accurate, but If your period doesn't come, you should test again. Maybe you can consider a visit to your obgyn and do a blood test, those are more accurate.

I would say about another week or so to make sure that the eggs settle along also for the sperm to be able to get to the eggs so yeah another week or so hope I helped
