I would agree to medical or nursing mandatory service only if all other degreed professions including law, computer science, education, engineering, business, political sciences etc. were also required to participate in mandatory service. Such a universal public service participation would truly benefit society, in my opinion. But, if it is not universal and requires only selected professions to participate, it benefits only a particular group's hidden political/economic agenda. Whenever a particular component of an economic system is isolated for manipulative change, that group should recognize its particular advantages of being somehow necessary in someone's plan. Such a group should not wait for discussions or "offers'' of fair social compensation but should initiate strong negotiations and demands. If they don't, they need to do what they are told as children.
