I like the sound of Matthew Jackson as opposed to Matthew Jacob, and I don't much care for the name Scott.

Also, although most people seldom say their full name, and sometimes don't use all their initials, you should try and avoid any awkward combinations with the baby's last name. The full- and short-versions of the name should roll easily off the tongue and the initials shouldn't form some unfortunate three letter word or sound. Your child will thank you for it some day (I hope).

How about Jackson Matthew Scott. Sounds very impressive, like a banker or a ceo of some huge company. And while Matthew, is also my son's name, there are 20 million matthews out there!!! Jackson is unique. and you can call him Jack
