If you are considering an MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role playing game) then you can play Ragnarok Online, Lineage 2, and Maplestory. There are many more, but these are the more popular titles. There are a lot of free servers out there that allow you to play for free. Just be careful when you look for a L2 server since NCsoft has been cracking down on them lately.
There are also games like Guild Wars and Risk Your Life 2. I heard those are free but you might want to double check on that.

I like to use miniclip.com for Helli 2 & 3, your this guy who has to
take helicptors down 3 is my favorite cause their is missions. Another is addictitiongames.com
funtab.com has some fun but kreul games
I use to play runescape (runescape.com) its my favorite game but its a worrier game you get armor and weapons and fight monsters im a level 68 and have full zammy worth 2.2 million its a blast you need to give it a try.
Will at addiction games.com I like this game called tank wars you could upgrade your tank and buy atom bombs missles and a whole lot of other stuff.

but if u like the best tank game ever go to freearcade.com click this game called tanx o my gosh its so fun you try to get a better rank like srgt. col. maj. i was a srgt but than i didnt play for a while so i had to start all over again.
