I live in a student house with 3other girls & no 1 in here gets along. i wont bore u with the details about all the things they have done but i want to get my own back.
It is now 8:30pm Dark & Raining,im the only 1 in the house at the mo coz the other3 r out @ work& at friends.
I was thinking of locking the front door with the bolt on the door nob, cutting off all the lights & pretending that no1 is in.
So when they come back 2night & tried their key it will not turn so they could suspect that the lock is broken rather than me just locking it.
I was also going to turn off my mobile&take out the house phones from the sockets so that if they tried 2call me then they couldnt &so i cud also get sleep
This would leave them no other option than 2phone the landlady2 get the lock sorted & to WAITorSLEEP outside till morning until the landlady comes to do something & i reveale that i was in the house the whole time Or go 2a friends 4the night.
Would i be going to far with this plan?

Im not a horrible person i have done nothing but try2get on with them but they are just generally horrible, nasty people.
I only thought about this prank20mins ago and wanted peoples opinons im not the sort to lock myself up and think how i can get bac at them, not at all!!
someone said i should ask 'how i can get bac at them' rather than giving a plan but i have read q's like that b4 and the only advice was dont do it and nothing else, the way im doing it i feel im getting proper feed back.

You could get yourself into some trouble. They might deserve it, and you wouldn`t be going too far in terms of payback, but they don`t seem like they`re worth causing problems over. What if the landlady gets upset? Just try to find some way to move away from them. If not, then just ignore them whenever possible, so you won`t be starting fights.

How much do you want to be homeless? Of course they'll know you're in if you lock it from the inside!! DUUUH!!!! The landlady will then be really pissed off and could charge you for the new lock! Not to mention getting called out in the middle of the night, you idiot! If it is so crap, you need to leave because you all sound stunningly juvenile.

Whatever they did to deserve such a wicked plan will lead to your relationship sinking to its lowest ebb. Two wrongs will never make a right. What happened to maturity? If one goes into battle with revenge in mind coupled with such a stupid plan, then one is likely going to fail. Your plan might backfire on you, particularly if they decide to break the door due to panic, thus leaving you both exposed to the unknown.
Be sensible and forget whatever prank they did to you and move on as that is in the past and the future is all that matters. Do you want to continue this friction or you are yearning to get back to happy times with your friends?
I think this is going too far, and I believe it will backfire on you.

Wow, you sound like you have too much time on your hands.
If you aren't happy there, why don't you do whatever you need to legally move on. Let your roommates find someone who will be happy in the group.
I would like to "with care" offer a thought, "when everyone else is wrong, you might take a look at yourself"......if everyone but you is getting along and maintaining friendships through it, you might assess your actions to see if the problem could be yours in which case, you will have the same problems wherever you go.

How would you like it if they did that to you? Think about spending a night or two in jail. The house is not yours and the landlady could have you thrown out of the house and into jail if she wants. Your house mates have the same rights as you do as long as they are on the lease. Grow up and talk to your house mates

Won't work. I'd call a locksmith or the police. In either event, I'd be in the house within an hour. And believe me, you would not be getting any sleep at that point.
Wouldn't it be easier to just move out?

A well thought out plan that will back fire and you will be
the one left out in the rain.
The next time you leave they will most likely do something to prank you.
