Drop-shipping refers to a manufacturer or distributor shipping directly from their warehouse to the end user. For example, many companies who sell from a catalog may not keep many items in stock. When a customer orders from the catalog, the catalog company will e-mail, mail or fax a purchase order to the factory. The PO will have a different name and address to whom they will "drop-ship" the item. The end user will not have any connection to the factory. If there is any problem with the order of any kind, the end user will contact the catalog company. When all is said and done, the end user may never know that the item was never in stock at the catalog company because their only contact is with the catalog and never the factory.

There are no set prices. You buy for less and sell for more. You have a relationship with suppliers where they will drop ship.
Stay away from eBay. You sign up with eBay and look for distributors selling their stuff on eBay. You advertise what the distributor has in their web sight by copying and pasting pictures and sell it. The buyer sends you money and you send the distributor money so they will drop ship the product to your customer. The distributor doesn't ship the product and EBay and the buyer get after you. The distributor is in another state and you, the little guy can't go after them. EBay cancels your account. You may be sued by the buyer. Usually, you and the buyer get cheated.

Yes, when I drop ship anything from my buisness, I charge that customer my price, them order that part at the dealer for my 30% off, and the dealer will ship it directly to the customer.
