Every time i take a new step my knee starts to hurt more. It constantly feels like it is going to collapse. I dont wanna tell my parents because they wont take it seriously and if they do they will over react. My phys. Ed. Teacher used to be a sports injury doctor but decided to become a gym teacher. I am gonna ask him to look ast it tomorrow. What do i say? Where? When? and most importantly i dont wanna bother him...will he be mad??

It could be fluid build up but you might want to tell your parents im sure they will take you seriously. Just tell your PE teacher whats going on (like the feeling) and you could do it after school or even during PE just let him know you need to talk to him and he will probably set up a time to help u. And NO he want be mad he would probably be glad to help but I promise he want be mad.

You need to tell your parents, but you can tell them that you want to let yout PE teacher l;ook at it tomarrow before you see a doctor, but they will and should have the final decision about that. I can tell you right now that your PE teacher is going to tell you to seek medical attention when you speak to him, as he can be held legally liable if he does not, and he or the school will be notifying your parents as well, same reason....so you may as well talk to them today. I would suggest icing it and staying off of it until you find out what is going on. Chances are it is not anything too serious and you will recover fully, but better to be safe that sorry. Good luck and a speedy recovery to you.

tell your parents and let them take you to the hospital, you could have a serious injury and can make it worse. and the school will notify your parents anyway and then they will be mad because you didn't go to them first, and its not the teachers responsibility its your parents

If there is a bump that is tender it is probably osgood shlaughters disease, it is common in younger people who are active. I have it, nothing can be done. They can give you ibuprofin. If that is not the case see a doctor.

I'm with you. It is better to risk a life altering injury than to tell the parents.

I hope and believe he will be glad you came to him rather than not seeing anyone. In the mean time stay off of your feet as much as possible.
