my sister has never played this game but i think she would like it for ps2. is it to hard for a 8-10 year old to play?

DDR is all rhythm based. If she's got rhythm (and patience) she should be able to figure it out (Especially if she likes to dance)

But make sure you get a Dance Pad too, there's no point ot DDR without it

I think it's a great idea and beneficial to keeping her physical activity up too.

It is somewhat hard but they are usually pretty fast learners

DDR isnt good............. its EXCELLENT!!! It helps for health and its really fun to play.
