Hello!
For Peanuckle you use a standard 52 card pack - no jokers.

Peanuckle is a game that starts with 5 cards, the aim to get rid of them. When one card is remaining that player must call "Peanuckle", and when they can play their last card must call "Out".

The first card that is laid can be any card - from that card either the same suit or the same number must be laid. So if a 3 of Hearts is played first, then either another 3 can be played, or another heart can be played. This then continues until someone plays all their cards. However, there are cards that make things happen - which are:
Ace - Changes Suit
2 - 2 cards must be played, or another 2 card can be put down. If the player cannot play 2 cards, they must pick up 2 cards from the pack. If a second 2 is played, then this means the next player has to play / pick up 4 cards.
5 - must be covered with another card of the same suit.
8 - the next player missed a go
Jack - Changes direction of play
Queen - 4 cards must be played or picked up. As with the 2 a second (or third or fourth!!) queen can be played - this will add extra cards to the next player. So if 2 queens are played, the next player must play or pick up 8 cards.

If at anytime a player doesn't have a card to lay on the pile, then they have to pick up a card from the pack.

Players have to pay attention to the game, and anyone asking questions like "Who's go is it?" gets a fault card. Fault cards can be distributed by anyone - you also get fault cards for not paying attention and missing your go.

I hope that this makes sense - but if it doesn't let me know, and I can describe this a bit better!!
