I've got an M.Div (master's degree in religion) and was blown away with this exhibit when I saw it in DC. It is by far the best thing I've seen on the subject.

ADDENDUM --

Sorry "pretty" but the Roman Catholic thing didn't happen until the massive influx of Eastern European and Irish immigrants that happened circa 1850ff. Maryland (named after Queen Mary of William and Mary fame) was a haven for Roman Catholics, but the rest were populated by various kinds of protestants.

im sorry but i dont know a website but in most northern colonies they were roman catholic.

there were many immigrants because of the West and there were many religions /Catholic, Baptist and so much more.
