I assume you are a healthy person as you have been trying for a baby for some time, I would advise exercise as you have been doing but don't over do it, you will know if you have overdone things because your body will ache. However if you aren't into exercising now is NOT the best time to start, although a leisurely stroll will do you good. In the first twelve weeks of pregancy you can become tired very easily and sick even go off foods you like this is all normal. People call it morning sickness but it can last all day and the best advice I can give for this is a Ginger Nut biscut and a cup of tea before you get out of bed in the morning. I understand how much this baby must mean to you as I to suffered a miscarriage (although I had two beautiful babies at the time) and I was absolutely devestated and couldn't wait until I fell pregnant again with my third and final child, I to was very anxious but had to get on as my other to children were under two and half years old, with yourself I would also recommend that you rest when you can especially when you are tired. The second term of pregnancy (3-6 months) are when you usually bloom and the final term (6-9 months) can be extremely tiring as you may be quite big and the baby is kicking like mad for some reason they take out at night. I would also advise you not to take any medication unless given to you by your G.P. or a Pharamcist that knows you are pregnant, Parcetamol is usually the only pain killer you can take, but I personally didn't take anything with any of my pregnancies, I thought this was better for both myself and the baby. I hope this info helps but its only going from personal experience, and I wish you the very best of luck with your pregnancy and in the near future a beautiful healthy baby.

Good Luck x

Stop worrying! That is the most important advice I can give you - stress will not do you or your baby any good.

I know this is easier said than done, especially as you have had a previous miscarriage but please don't waste the whole 9 months panicking about the baby. Yes, you've had a bad experience in the past but this doesn't automatically mean that anything will go wrong with this pregnancy. My mum miscarried before she had me and voila, here I am 32 years down the line!

Don't forget that your Dr will be well aware of your medical history and will probably be extra vigilent when it comes to your pre-natal care.

Just use your common sense - you probably already know what you should and shouldn't eat etc.

Plenty of rest and relaxation is the order of the day, listen to your body and trust your instincts.

Congratulations and enjoy your pregnancy! xx

First of all, relax! You're finally there! Congrats! I'm not sure what advice you'd really need. If you've been trying for a long time, I'm sure you know not to smoke, drink, do drugs or eat raw meats. It seems that you're stressing yourself, which is not good for the baby. So take a deep breath and know that you will be fine and your baby will be fine. Try prenatal yoga or just meditate for a while with your eyes closed and no distractions. As long as you keep up with your appointments, keep a healthy diet and take your vitamins, your baby will be just great. Most of your pregnancy is going to be very boring (at least mine has). It's just waiting, waiting, waiting. So relax!

Congrats on your beautiful new baby!

Try your best just to eat right and exercise daily, and take a prenatal vitamin. These are the only things that I know to tell you to do. Try not to stress over a lot of things right now either because stress isn't good at any time but especially while you are pregnant. Good Luck and Congratulations.

how far are you for starters? no lifting anything heavy, drink plenty of water, avoid peanuts, make sure you are cooking your eggs fully and dont eat rare meat them are just some of the things you need to know for now. also your GP will give you some folic acid to take daily and try and drink a glass of milk every day, if you have any worries phone the A&E, appart from that good luck with everything.

Congratulations i had 13 miscarriages before i had my princess and i spent the whole pregnancy worrying.. the first three months are crucial so take it easy and dont lift so much as a cup of tea theres no point telling you not to worry as you will and make sure you pamper yourself and try to relax easier said than done i know good luck xx

Go ahead and start some pre-natal vitamins with folic acid if you arent already on them. Get plenty of rest and try to eat well. (reduce caffeine, refined sugars.... drink water)

But overall remember that you did not cause your previous miscarriage and if this pregnancy ends too, you could not have prevented it. You will do all that you can to maintain a healthy pregnancy, sad after that, it's really in God's hands.

Try to relax (yeah, right) GOOD LUCK!

Try not to worry too much! Stressing out is not healthy for your baby:)
If you are really worried then you should be extra cautious, don't eat anything that could carry a risk of food poisoning, stay in bed as much as possible and dont walk around too much. Definitely don't have sex and think positive thoughts about the baby inside you, moving around and its heart beating.
This site http://ehd.org/ has videos of babies in the womb form conception to birth, it might help if you can visualise your baby as a living creature inside you and not just a dream that could be shattered.

Take a pregnancy multivit, eat a balanced diet, rest when you need to.
And remember that there is only so much you can do, nature has a large role to play here and it's too late to impact the genetic make up of your child.
Relax and enjoy your pregnancy!
