When I asked the question of how long you would keep trying before you gave up on someone. I got bashed for being the cheater! I even said in the question that I was asking that it was not me that did the cheating. So why is it that some people don't read the whole thing before they answer a question? All I wanted to know was from someone that had cheated on their mate....how long they tried to get them back before giving up. I know there is a lot of cheaters/excheaters out there that could answer that question. Hope I don't get bashed again. I know there is more than one question here so you can answer all or none. Just please don't bash me, I did nothing wrong. I was the good person!!

I can tell you all that it was not me that did the cheating at all. He did it to me one time. He knew that I did not believe in cheating. So I did leave him. Now he is telling me that if I will give him another chance, that I will not reget taking him back. I have only been gone about 6 months. I have saw a lot of changes but not enough yet.

i just went back to make sure i was not the one who bashed you..
so i took that opp. to answer your question. when long stories are involved a person does not want to give 100% of their attn. to it. so please go back and read my answer on the pg. that you first ask.

I didn't read your original post but it really does'nt matter.
There is an awful lot of that bashing going around. Bashing people because english is not their native language, bashing cuz the spelling, grammar or syntax aint quite right. Slammin' peoples' ethnicity, religion or land of origin and anything else a narrow minded, ignorant a*s can think to attack. Don't take it too personaly darlin, consider the source, it kind of goes with the territory unfortunately.

I went back and read the question. From the first 5 or so lines it definitly seems like you are posing a hypothetical situation because you are in a similar one.

Your later claims that your aren't the cheater may have rang false to many of the more cynical/distrusting answerers (I really wasn't sure if you were telling the truth myself)

you should expect bashing when several people from all over read the questions.
Don't let it get to you .
I have never cheated but my friend has and she felt so guilty .
It ate her up for along time.
And she never cheated again . as they say once a cheater always a cheater but for her once was enough.
she got him back and they are happy together.

I didn't see your first question but sometimes the questions are too long to read so you answer the question after only reading a few sentences.

Don't let it bother you....you don't know these people

Perhaps your question wasnt phrased clearly enough. If it was, then perhaps the folks that bashed you didnt read it all, or didnt comprehend what they were reading. At any rate, I'm sure e/one didnt rake you over the coals. Please dont take anything/one seriously here. It merely depends on what frame of mind anyone happens to be in, on any particular day.

if he truly is repentant, and wants to come home, u need to set some boundaries, the boundaries are for u, not him, boundaries are what u will deal with in the future and what u won't deal with. got to be crystal clear on it, and be prepared to end the marriage if he ever cheats again. i was cheated on but my ex did not ask for forgiveness, it was just goodby one day, and i want a divorce, he had been seeing her for awhile so by the time i heard it, it was too late to talk or say anything. when i asked him, he said it's done. as if it was some thing he had been working on for some time.

1.People are lazy...most don't read the whole 100 word story, just the title.

2.And people bash bacause they can...it's safe to do so online.
