I am looking for an MP3 player that is sleek, comparable in price and in fuction to the 30gb Video Ipod. Should I just get an Ipod or is there another MP3 player out there with similar characteristics but is better, more capapilities and easier to use, than the Ipod?

To my knowledge Ipod is the best, talking about Ipod , you probably know that now there is an 80 GB Ipod video , if I were you I would go for the 80GB , new generations are coming to the market faster than ever before ,so it's better to have the latest generation at any time.

SanDisk Sansa e250 costs around $100-$110. It is 2GB which means it hold around 500 songs. It shows photos and has video playback. It has a nice vibrant screen, and it also has a voice recorder. There is an FM tuner from which you can listen to the radio or even record from. It has a MicroSD slot so you can expand the memory at a given time. It has a nice sleek design and has the same dimensions as the iPod Nano except for the thickness which it is more thicker.

The iPod. I was going to buy two of those for my sons for Christmas but then realized that for $100 more, I could get more than twice the space so I actually went with the 80 Gb iPod Videos.

How can you deny the swishy click wheel?? Lol. I like the old iPod better. There's really no way to take off the split screen without hacking the iPod Classic. Look around and see if you can find a cheaper 30 GB. Although you did mention that it was factory sealed.

30gb video. Much more support and help if it breaks. More trusted company.
