I don't know of any of the wives tales with any kind of proven success rating, I'm afraid.
You might as well try positive thinking, as it couldn't hurt.
Good luck!

There is only one that I know of. If indeed your husband is producing sperm with the female chrmosome...
They say that timing is everything. Boy sperm swims faster, but girl sperm has more stamina. What that means is that the closer you are to ovulation time the more chance you will have of conceiving a boy because it will get to the egg faster. If you have intercourse tho around day 12ish then the boy sperm will peter out while the girls keep going. So long story short...if you expect to Ovulate around day 14, begin having intercourse around day 11 or 12 to give the girl sperm a fighting chance.
Now, if your hubby's genetics is to produce boy sperm only, then you're outta luck. Pull the blue back out and enjoy bouncing baby boy #2.

There are no methods. The feminine egg has an X chromosome. The male's sperm can both provide an X or a Y chromosome. If the sperm offers and X the child will probably be a woman, if it's a Y chromosome the child will likely be a boy. There aren't any tricks that will help the sperm cell supply one distinctive chromosome.

You will receive all kinds of suggestions on how to have a girl but the truth is unless he is shooting out girl sperm, then you will not have a girl. The sex of a child is determined by the sex of the sperm cell that joins with the egg. You can find out what he is producing though. They now have a test that you can do. He goes in and does his thing in a cup, then they look at them under a microscope and tell you what you have. Good luck!!!

There aren't any "tricks" that would create the sex of your child. The best thing to do it to pray for a healthy child, whichever sex it is. Good luck!

for a girl have sex 3 days before ovulation and a boy 3 days after -a nurse once told me that but i can't guarantee accuracy
To be honest i think it's the male sperm which defines the sex of the child-so it depends whether he has more male or female sperm
