Just an idea, but how is it possible for one man to be so overflowing with talents and to viualise the future 400 years ahead of his time. Could he possibly have been from beyond his world or his time?

If I'm not mistaken he was an illegitimate son of a peasant girl and a man of breeding. He went and lived with his father, now as a bastard, and being brought up in a one parent family, you can either blame the world for your problems, or you use it as a means to propel you into making something of yourself. This certainly happened with Leonardo, single handedly starting a movement in painting and science, Renaissance man owes a debt of gratitude to a great modern man.....
But was he alien, I certainly hope not. I would like to think that men like him are proof that all human beings can aspire to greatness.....
