Do you think that EDR is a breach of your privacy?

I don't feel that it's a breach of our privacy, although I do feel the automakers could have told about this little hidden feature in our vehicles. I think if more people were made aware that it was factory installed and could more easily hold them accountable for a traffic accident then maybe people would follow the traffic laws more. I look at this as a black box on an airliner. It may help to piece together what happened before the accident. If it helps to slow us down while driving and prevents even one death from speeding, then I think in that regard I consider it to be a safety feature in the long run.
Please tell us your view too.

Yes, very much so. I bought the car, I paid taxes on it when I bought it, pay them again every single year , I have the states plates and inspection sticker on it. So what about this car actually says its mine? Oh wait, nothing b/c im a robot and we actually have no choices anymore. How I want to drive my car is my business. By rights, shouldnt the state being paying us for putting their crap on OUR cars? We just need more people to stop talking on their cell phones long enough to realize we have very little freedom anymore!
