The last Smurf that I choked first turned navy blue and then he went sorta purple.

Purple. That's what other cartoons turn AFTER they turn blue, which is the same color as Smurfs.

i think the head would pop right off if you choked a smurf... so, whatever color their blood is...

First he'd turn red, then he'd turn blue from cyanosis. That's assuming smurfs thrive on oxygen and their cardiac, respiratory and other systems are similar to humans.

Where did you see a live smurf? I want one!!! I wouldn't even choke him!!! I suppose he would turn black. I don't know.
