Mines not, but my family and I are already planning what it'll look like (the ornamets, the colors, the lights).

Not yet. I wait. One year I put my tree up the day after Thanksgiving and ended up having to buy another tree for my annual Christmas party the second weekend in December. I cut my own tree now at a tree farm then I know it's the freshest tree. A local store near my house has had shipping containers with trees in them since OCTOBER! Those will never last.

Not Yet....But as soon as my Son struggles to get it out of the closet, drags it down the hallway, goes around the corner and hauls it down the stairway, moves my favorite chair to the other side of the room, then moves the table that is there to some place else in the house....it will be !

Don't Bah Humbug me for having a fake tree....I am too poor to buy a real tree every year and too old to go through boxes and boxes of ornaments to decide what color to do the tree this year. ..I gave almost all of my favorite ornaments (that my four children made in school and scouts) to each of them to adorn their family trees....so now their children enjoy them also. So basically I have a lot of happy memories and a ton of plain ornaments....I'll take the memories and my predecorated fake tree anytime.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

will put my Christmas Tree up on December 20TH just in time for the Winter Solstice ( Yule ) and then will take it down around January 1ST. keep my decorations as simple as I can because the more one puts up the more one has to take down and store until next year. after all these decorations are used only once a year.

I'm sick of putting an X-MAS tree up. Christmas is commercial.

NO!!!!!
Any earlier than the 1st Saturday in December would make me a SCROOGE by Christmas.

I don't know why Christmas season stretches longer & longer every year, but I refuse to start it in October & let it go til February.
It's just a holiday, not a LIFESTYLE!!!!!!
