Yes. It was in a choir class and we were just out of gym. This girl was just exhausted and fell straight backwards like a board. We were all freaked out.

Yes, I've seen many people faint. I work in a Level-1 Trauma Center and real fainting is usually nothing like you see on t.v. I've also seen someone faint at the mall food court because their blood sugar was so low. In addition I saw someone faint once at Target and split their head open on the floor. It's not pretty.

I fainted once. I was on the subway, and I was reading this really graphic magazine article about episiostomies (the surgical procedure obstetricians do when they are helping a woman deliver a baby - it involves cutting the vagina) I got so grossed out that I felt weak, my vision clouded up and turned green, and I started to fall - fortunately, somebody stood up and let me have their seat. In a minute I was OK,and I got off at my stop without incident.

I have fainted a number of times and seen it happen to others. If I get to hot I will faint, so yes, it does happen.

Yes I have. I work for a Doctor and you would be surprised to see how many faint when they have there blood drawn.

Yes, in a grocery store....then I realized she was in a diabetic shock...so the grocery store had a display and I got a spoon and put a tissue around it to stop her from swallowing her tongue....I had just finished a first aid course...and took off my coat and threw it over her as she was older and her dress was caught under her....and she needed her privacy.
So many people tried to crowd around...so I shouted...get the manager and an anbulance...quick...and get these people away as she needs air.....and some people took charge and helped keep the crowd away....then her husband showed up...and thanked me.......................................................and the ambulance people came....and I walked away....silently....till now!
I suggest everyone take the red cross..class to help others!...we never know.

Im a dental nurse I see it every other day, its nothing like on TV, People tend to have a seizure when they come back round and lots have no idea where they are and go a really funny colour.

iv seen a crocodile faint--its actually funny really, you put presser on their eye lids, and they faint...
and iv almost fainted once.. everything went white, and i couldnt' hear anything .. i was sooo dissy too..

yes we use to make each other hypervenalate by taking 3 breathes and then holding there neck. then they faint
