He said recently to an interview : "Brasil doesn't have as many great players as people say." I think this is a bold statement by Dunga. Do you really think Brasil does not have as many great players and it is the media that hype up player's image when the Brasilian players are involved ?
I personally feel all the Brasilian players are highly talented after all it is Brasil although I am not saying I am disagreeing with Dunga either.

no 90% of brazilian players are talented look at cris the brazilian defender in lyon although he is not in the national team he is really talented and there is also naldo in bermen and amauri in palermo and the brazilians in sevilla even the brazilians in the turkish club fenerbache r talented so in every famous club in any country in any league u will find 2 or moretalented brazilians so i donot agree with him in this point the only thing i agree with him about lately is his comments on ronaldinho when he said that he is loyal to barca than the yellow shirt of brazil which is really true espicially after the amazing goal i saw yesterday which he scored against viareal i never saw ronaldinho scoring such an amazing goal with brazil i even didnot see him scoring a single goal with brazil since copa america!!!

Brazil has produced some of the greatest players in the world. Pele the King is from Brazil. Dunga has been the captain of the 1994 world cup winning team and is a veteran of many games. He has now taken up the role of coaching a team which is made up of new players. So far, they have produced the results and their performance has been up to the par. But consistency is the key factor that separates a great player from others. Probably this is exactly what Dunga have in his mind when using the word "Great." If all the players from Brazil were great including Ronaldinho, their performance would have been consistent in the World Cup which as we all know was not as Brazil crashed out in the QF. The underlying idea behind making this comment as Mike B said is to motivate the players so that they keep up their level of performance. I want Ronaldinho to peform for Brazil just the way he does for Barcelona. Then I will call him a great player… So I agree with Dunga’s statement.

Denise sorry hun, but your looking into way too much, lol, He,s speaking the truth in ways, The talent he speaks of is in the likes of Pele, Zico, Ronaldo when he was healthy, he was defining what a great player was by saying that a great player would take control of 8 out of 10 games and be the decisive factor in those games, not just like 2 or 3 games out of 10, those players i named took over games when they needed to be, Pele and Ronaldo would score when they needed goals, on a regular basis, then you had Zico, he was the play maker that had everyone scoring, he scored alot too.... So i do think he has right to say those words, we have some great players on this national team, there a young team that needs to be more consistent as far as a great team, we need players to step up and be regulars on the team, just like Ronaldinho, Kaka, Robinho and Lucio etc... i think this whole statement thing is trying to motivate players, they have no games till next year, so he wants Brasilian players to play there heart out for there clubs, to play there best, to be great so when the Copa America comes around we will have a strong team and to keep the Brasilan tradition of being the best Football nation in the world.... He's building an empire......

understand that Dunga and Ronaldinho are the two "Gauchos", so in Dunga's recommendations it supplies him even moreso the terrific to criticize Ronaldinho's overall performance. an difficulty-free thank you to evaluate is: watch Ronaldinho Dentuco play for Barca, then watch a great style of the Brazil fits because of the fact that 2002. word any distinction? I constructive do. i will provide Ronaldinho credit that a minimum of he apologized for his overall performance for Brazil on his internet site (emailed to completely each physique subscribed), yet to Dunga, he will probable could tutor himself returned. Dunga has a sturdy artwork ethic, and he probable expects no much less from his gamers. to end the respond: Dunga isn't clueless.. the guy began fiddling with lots of the very appropriate Brazil ever had previous the excellent participant era of the early/mid 60s, and captained the group to victory in 1994, besides the fact that in the process no way "jogo bonito" that win.

It is an ignorant comment in his part. The Brasilian team will always have good players, because it is their main sport. Brasil always has great players. Many young players are awaiting their shot. Football is their life. Each year you see a new player from Brazil. Pele, Ronaldo, Ronaldhino, Cafu, Kaka, are a few of what we hear of and more to come. Ole,ole, ole, ole Brasil, Brasi!

C'MON...SPEAK WHAT U REALLY FEAL!!!
I won't say a thing witch is opposite to dunga's affirmation, and then mention that I don't disagree with him either!!!! he's a human beeing too so he can be right or he can't! I like him he's a great coach! but what the f*** only because he's their coach gives him the right to say this!?? what is he up to? I catched him saying that he's not sure of dinho's fittnes,of his performances, and that that's why he puts him on the bench!
but now he's not sure of all the other players performances???!!!!!!
I don't think he hears himself when he speaks! this is too much!!! who does he think he is???!!!! I really think this is humiliating for all the brazilians players...geeze how can he say this!!! I don't think this is a good way to motivate the players,he's humiliating them, they already feel bad for the world cup failling, they know what they lost, they don't need extra angers!!!
I'm sure the next world cup is theirs, but dunga doesn't have to be that rude with them!!! I won't say one more word,I'll wait to see what he's really up too! but I don't like this...

reply to lovely: of course he's happy at barca!!! why not??? after all the mean things the brazilians did to him after world cup (no need to enumerate them),after all the things dunga said to him!!!
once again WHY NOT??? barca fans never deceived him, they never let him down, especially when he needed them the most!!! they all waited for him, they gave him his necessary time to get in shape once more, again and again!
IT IS CALLED PATIENCE,DEVOTION AND RESPECT for what this man showed them, for ages! he feels that barca is his new home,he feels a part of it,a part of the team's history and he ensured his beloved fans that he won't leave them for any other team! THIS is football,my dear...

FORTZA BRAZIL FOREVER!

~peace allz~

I think he actually meant that having great players is not enough, it's getting them to play as team, that matters more.
