I agree with the two above. law and order, but without the double standard. I think a lot of problems that occur in society, is caused by segregating people, so we do not get to learn and understand each others way's better. I think this can cause certain people to feel left out, and fall into sterotypical ways, thus making the problem even worse. I do not beleive there is such a thing as a perfect society, but I think if we were all more accepting, then we would 4 sure be on a better path with each other, or in certain places... or is that too idealistic? Who can say?

Needs ? Society needs order to maintain itself in a functioning state. The need for law and order, food and shelter, morals via the family. Whether you you look at modern day society or ancient society, there usually is a structure. Man hunts for food to survive and build shelter to survive, it is a need. Modern societies simply have much more complicated structures to incorporate and analyse.

People. The universe was born out of chaos, we seek to control it by creating structure. If we have control of ourselves and the world we live in, then surely we can control our destiny.
wherever there is chaos, humans will seek to control it with structure and order, it makes them feel safe.
