Marilyn Manson is amazing. He is, as you said, a genius. He used to be so much better, before the whole Dita thing... I prefer pre-GAoG Manson. And in response to a few other people's answers... Aimee-Jade, you sound very much like one of the fans that aren't really fans. You think that you calling him Brian makes you exclusive? It doesn't. His band mates, his ex-wife, his girlfriend, and his father don't call him 'Brian', so why should you? It DOESN'T make you an 'omg lyk suuuuper huge fannn'. And Sammers, Tainted Love is not a good song. Sure, it's alright, but it's definitely not even on the same level as his early work. And you parents are overprotective, so you only listen to one of the crappy covers? Manson went to a private Christian school, he wasn't supposed to listen to the music that he listened to, but that didn't stop him. Anyway, yes, Manson is 'hot'.

Beauty is more or less in the eye of the beholder...who the hell cares if he's hot? I mean, by way of consensus, Marilyn Manson is probably not going to be considered hot. But there are plenty of hot guys scattered around the place, but there is only one Marilyn Manson, and only a very few lyrical music artists who have achieved that level of aesthetic power/integrity. Beatles? Queen? Pink Floyd? U2? Elton John? Dylan? And yes, Marilyn Manson. Now, in ParisHilton lingo, that's hot. And I'm as straight as they come. I'd rather have Manson on the planet over a hot person, guy *or* girl, any day. Manson is irreplaceable. Sorry to get so passionate...I'm a big fan of his music :). It's fine that you think he's hot...Manson himself said he is trying to decentralize the "fascism of beauty" so to speak and create alternatives.
