I love message in a bottle too!! its based on the book by nicolas sparks - he's written quite a few and whether i watch the film or read the book, they always make me cry - a walk to remember had me sobbing my heart out!
The saddest move ever was Beaches with bette middler!! I went with my cousin to see it one Sunday afternoon at the cinema - when we came out the cinema an attendant nudged his co-worker and said "beaches" as our mascara was all over our faces from crying!! lol

Robin Wright Penn played the girl. Actually, your should read the book. The movie was NOTHING like the book (did the movie writer even read the book???). The book is even more sad; I cried like a baby! For example, she didn't meet the guy's Dad until the end of the book, etc.
Even sadder? Schindler's List. That actually happened.

i think one of the saddest movies is What Dreams May Come with Robin Williams, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Annabella Sciorra
it was a great movie but hard to watch
Chris and Annie Nielsen's (Robin Williams,Annabella Sciorra)children are both killed, and then a few years later Chris himself dies in an accident. Chris goes to heaven, a place built of his imagination, and the paintings he loved in life. He discovers from an angel that Annie has committed suicide, as she is bereft without her family. Chris determines to search for her, but as he has gone to heaven and she to hell, he must endure great hardships to find her.

Without a doubt, "Terms of Endearment" with Shirley MacLaine and Debra Winger. A beautiful movie on the relationship a mother has on her daughter. In the end, the mother shows her softer side. An awesome display of human emotions; definitely one of my favorites. It was the first movie that ever made me cry...I think I was 9yrs. old when it came out.
