I suspect if we look up the word "elitist" in the dictionary we'd see your picture. But to answer your question, anything that gives me a good quality product at a good price is not humbling, it's empowering.

Well, I used to shop there for the low prices, until I realized that they treat their employees badly, indirectly. They pay them little money for a multi-billion dollar a year corp. , their health ins. is a joke- one page long compared to other companies like, WalGreens, CVS, etc...who actually have policies with coverage. They have lost numerous child labor suits in the past few years in the U.S. ( I did a report on child labor laws in history, and used WalMart as my present day example-sad, really). They also give money to anti-gay groups and campaigns, which for some of you is GREAT news, but to some of us, with non-judgemental, open-minds, I don't agree with this (and no, I'm not gay). So, I go to target, and look for sales at other stores, before I shop at WalMart. They should be ashamed of themselves, and as far as US being "humble"? Nobody in this world is better than anyone else, no matter what you may think of yourself- so , this question also makes me a little sad, but it's a true mark of where our society is going and has been going for a long time.

Wal Mart rules if you're living on the cheap. 25 years ago cheap goods sucked, you got no value. Stuff would break or it wouldn't last. Now you can even get good stuff at the 99 cent store ( some of it!)

I only find it difficult to NOT laugh at so many people who dress up in Nascar advertising crap and end up looking like people from the back woods.

Its a freak show every time ! But holycrap batman the prices are good !!

Wal Mart is a great place to shop...
Most people want the best bargain for their money...
I am proud to be seen as someone who knows
how to get the most for his money...

I just find it difficult to walk into Walmart, for any number of reasons, none of which have anything to do with the people inside.

No I don't have any trouble when I see their prices!! Good luck to you if you want to throw away your money buying the same things in hoity toity stores just to impress others who probably also go to WalMart when they get a chance, and could care less about you and your image.
