Can I just buy the new guild wars without getting the firt 1?

Can i get Guild Wars Nightfall without having to buy the first one?

yes. all guildwars chapters can be played independantly of one another. however if you only own prophecies then you can not go to cantha or elona, just as if you have only factions or nightfall you can not travel to tyria.

try checking out the system requirements on the box.it tells u if u need some other game to make it work
