Ya know, men have feelings too... and man jokes hurt soooo much....
I mean, we have thoughts... and feelings... and... stuff....
We're more than just a cute pair of tight buns (and someone to take out dead mice) you know....

I would say that if women aspire to reach a high position in the work force then they must not lack ambition, however patriachy is still a prominent issue. Men have higher rates of managerial positions at work, than women who perform the same role! not fair i say.

No i think that is the ideal. Men and women are and should be 100% equal.
That doesn't mean to say that if a man does something stupid then a woman should follow suit so that things can be equal though, that sort of thinking is daft.

Thanks for my laugh of the day. No, Poppy, women who aspire to be equal with men want the same respect, opportunities, and pay as the men have. We also want to put our feet up at the end of the day and tune out the world, as men have for centuries, while the women take care of the household tasks and child-rearing.

NO!! not at all!! Although, I think that it is sad if a woman felt she needed to compete with a guy!! I am not a feminist, but I think that sometimes some people do not really see how difficult it can be for a woman (in work field, and life sometimes), to prove that she has more than t i t s and a--!! Why can't we just be equal? i say go for it to any woman who strives to do more for herself!!
You go girl!!!

Or don't wish to be hypocritical. Unless they were preaching woman's superiority at the outset. You can't bank on equality and then throw it out the window once you get a leg up.

WoW!
You have got me really, really, really puzzled about it!
Does that mean that when my wife is driving and I say that she must 'turn left,' that I say 'Left' or 'You can please your self, but you really do need to turn' ...?
My wife is "BRILLIANT" at dealing with babies, small children and older people (especially those with dementia). But she has all of the negotiating skills of Attila the Hun, and she so often and so easily manages to bring out the BEST of the WORST in other 'Adults' - male and female - when trying to deal with her.
One day I hope to achieve her Level in her skills in antagonising, irritating and bitching (at the wrong people).
Personally, I HATE those easy sweeping smart swipes at either gender ~ where one swipe of the tar-brush covers all. It makes the life of the simple single-minded so easy ~ and gives us all a jolly good laugh too.
Sash.
