Please help with wii problem!?

I have been trying to email pictures to my wii and its not working does anyone know how to fix this problem with using a sd card. I checked my wifi connections and they work just fine.

Maybe it's not working because the Wii can't officially go online yet. All you can do is use the Shop Channel. December is when the Forecast Channel comes out, and January for the News Channel. That's about all I know.
